Vision

This section explains the educational vision behind the Internal Developer Platform — why we built it, how it works, and what we've learned so far.

It is intended for educators, researchers, and anyone interested in using continuous delivery as a teaching tool in software engineering education.

We see three main roles for the platform in education:

  1. CI/CD is a powerful feedback mechanism for learning
  2. Students learn to manage and control their own software delivery — supporting HBO-i learning outcomes in Manage & Control (Software layer) and the Infrastructure layer.
  3. An authentic learning experience. Industry already has the answers — practices like Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD embody the learning principles that education frameworks try to formalize. The platform brings those practices into the classroom directly.

In this section

  • CI/CD in Education — why continuous delivery is a powerful feedback mechanism for learning
  • Current State — what's running on the platform today
  • Roadmap — where the platform is heading
  • Press — public recognition for this work

Agile Manifesto The Agile Manifesto wasn't written by educators — but its values map remarkably well to how people learn.
